About
I'm a poet, illustrator, performance artist, freelance writer, locavore, gluten-free kitchen witch and single parent. I live with my teen-aged son and our supernaturally cute Pomeranian. My work has been published in The Iowa Source, The Ottumwa Courier, the anthologies Lyrical Iowa 2007, This Enduring Gift, Amore: Love Poems and Rise.
I have a background as an editor, copy editor, journalist, blogger and performer. I am passionate about poetry as performance art, and am involved with the Soapbox Speakeasy, a spoken word group. I look forward to sharing my work at an open mike near you.
