Megan D Robinson

What began as an installation art piece, featuring improvisational dancing by Megan, Hilary Jordan, and Wendy Stegall, at Morning Star Studio for the September 2011 Artwalk will be transformed into an ongoing series of workshops.

 

Using collage, free writing excercises and improvisational movement, workshop participants will examine  how we can take negative things people say and wear them like hair shirts, and then become aware of that and shed the baggage. An optional evening performance will follow the workshop.

 

Megan received her MA in Art, with emphasis on sculpture and installation art, from MUM in 1999. She worked with Juliet Daley's original Danza Da improv dance group for her thesis project in 1999. Megan was a member of Hilary Jordan's Passion Dance Company
